He Knows

“Then Joshua said to Achan, “My son, give glory to the Lord, the God of Israel, and honor him. Tell me what you have done; do not hide it from me.”
Joshua 7:19 NIV
He knows what we have done. Although Achan was able to keep his secret from Joshua and the people. He could not keep his secret from God. Not only did God know but there were consequences for his sin even though no one knew. We may think no one knows but God always does. And even though not another living soul knows there are still consequences. You hear a lot of people say, that what they do with their body is up to them. Yet this is not true. Nothing we do is done in a vacuum. Everything we do affects others around us. This is just an uncomfortable fact.

You may sow your seed in secret but you will surely reap in the open.
