Prayer for My Children

In this world, there are few things I love more than my children. My wife is one of those things. Along with the church and my brothers and sisters in Christ. My children are special for two reasons. They are my children in flesh and spirit. (I Cor. 4:14-15) So, what do I pray for them? It is what I pray for all that are my spiritual children.
“I have no greater joy than to hear that my children are walking in the truth.”
3 John 1:4 NIV
If you are not sure what to ask God for concerning your children. Then this verse is for you. There can be no greater joy than to know our kids are walking in the truth. And conversely nothing can break our hearts like a prodigal child. So, no matter were your kids are on the scale. (walking worthy or walking prodigal) Our prayer should be the same. Pray that your kids will walk in the truth. It will bring us joy here on earth and our Heavenly Father joy in heaven. All parents are filled with joy when their kids are living worthy. So pray for your kids today.
