Providence
Providence – God’s care and control. How often do we think about such things? Every day and at every moment God is at work. If not for the providential care of the Lord we would not last even one day. How often we forget that our adversary roams the earth seeking those he can devour. He does not seek the lost for they are his already. No, he seeks the children of the King. He would drown us like a flood if not for the care and control of our God.
“The Lord keeps watch over you as you come and go, both now and forever.”
Psalms 121:8 NLT
It should never leave our minds how the Lord protects us. We should think on and rejoice in the fact that he is protecting us. It should cause us great pleasure and delight to ponder the providence of God. Let us worship and praise our Lord. Let us remember His works with thanksgiving.
