Psalms

Psalms

““The Lord looked down from his sanctuary on high, from heaven he viewed the earth, to hear the groans of the prisoners and release those condemned to death.””

Psalms 102:19-20 NIV

I think I would be more mindful of the things I do if I keep this verse in mind. God is watching all of us here on earth. That part of this passage can be a scary thought. Yet at the same time the next verse tells us of His mercy and love. He hears our groans even when we were dead in our sins. He provides a way of escape from our death. It’s funny to think about it but so many people are trying to live there life. One way or the other they seek to get all that they can; wealth, fame, sex, drugs an endless futile search for happiness. Yet this is just the movements of dead people. How happy can you be when you do not have real life? Thank you Lord that you sent your Son that we might have life and have it abundantly.
