Psalms (Pt. 7)

Meditations in Psalms

“Yes, my soul, find rest in God; my hope comes from him. Truly he is my rock and my salvation; he is my fortress, I will not be shaken.”

Psalms 62:5-6 NIV

Without a doubt we all can attest to the fact that the world we live in is full of twists and turns. Where I am today is not where I had planned to be. Yet, even when life throws us a curve ball we can stand firm. My hope is in the Lord, it is there that my soul finds rest. My feet will stand upon the rock of my salvation and I will not be moved. Not only will I not be moved but the storm will not even shake me. You see when we rest in the peace that passes understanding we can know true peace. Yes, life is hard and full of twists but our Lord has us in His mighty hands. If He can control the storm and we know He can. If He holds us in His hands and we know He does. And that He will not lose even one that God has given Him. Then what is there to worry about? God is my fortress, there is none greater.

As Christians we are one family... I love you as my family as we go through this journey of life together.
