Prosperity?

Prosperity?

“Because you did not serve the Lord your God joyfully and gladly in the time of prosperity,”

Deuteronomy 28:47 NIV

God had promised blessing on the people of Israel.  To receive these blessings they were to keep all of God’s commands.

Yet, if they failed to do so they would be cursed. They would become poor and destitute. They would be hungry and naked. Their enemies would rule over them. If God did this to His own chosen people how much more will He do to us.

We as a nation have been blessed beyond any other nation in history. Yet, in our prosperity we have refused to serve the Lord. How much worse will be the fate of our country?

The result of these texts are the basis for this blog. So in many ways what you will see, are me sharing devotionals with my family. I invite you to be a part of my family. As Christians we are one family... I love you as my family as we go through this journey of life together.
