“On this mountain the Lord Almighty will prepare a feast of rich food for all peoples, a banquet of aged wine— the best of meats and the finest of wines.”

In heaven we will have more things to do than just worship. How about a party? Not just any old party but the biggest, best and funnest party you could ever imagine. This party will be part of a marriage fest. (Matt. 8:11, Luke 22:30, Rev. 19:9). How amazing will that be to attend the heavenly party.
Also in heaven we will be reunited with loved ones and we get to meet all of the Saints that have proceeded us. That means we will get to talk with people like King David, Abraham and Moses. We can ask Paul to tell us all about his missionary journeys. Here’s One more thing to think about, we will meet the saints that come after us. As Christians we are to leave behind a living legacy. These children, grandchildren even great and great great grandchildren will be there for us to meet. Have you ever wondered if you are making an impact in peoples lives. I hope that each of us are having an impact for the gospel. Well some day in heaven we may have people come up to us and say, “you don’t know me but I’m here in heaven today because you supported a missionary in my country.” When I think of heaven in this way it makes me feel ashamed for the way I use my gifts and monies that God has given me. Oh Lord let me live my life with maximum effort for your kingdom.

But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where moths and vermin do not destroy, and where thieves do not break in and steal. For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also.”
